The FreeHand is a vector-based application . It is used to create the vector shapes . Vector graphics is resolution independent . The shapes or drawing in vector shapes can be scaled, edited and printed in any resolution without losing its quality and smoothness. So it is said to be the best for the line art drawing . But in the case of bitmap images,it is resolution dependent its quality depends upon the resolution of the printer and the monitor .
