Installing and starting FreeHand |
To install and start FreeHand in Windows:
- Disable any virus-protection application.
- Insert the FreeHand CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive.
- Follow the instructions. The FreeHand installer prompts you to enter the serial number found on your registration card.
- Launch FreeHand from the Windows Start menu

To install and start FreeHand on the Macintosh:
- Insert the FreeHand CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive.
- From the Apple menu, choose Control Panels > Extensions Manager.
- Disable virus-protection extensions and restart your computer.
The root folder of the CD-ROM appears on your desktop.
- Open the FreeHand 10 folder.
- Double-click the FreeHand 10 Installer icon to launch the FreeHand installer.
- When the FreeHand installer screen displays, follow the onscreen instructions.
The FreeHand installer prompts you to enter the serial number found on your registration card.
Once the installation is complete, the FreeHand folder opens on your desktop.
- If prompted, restart your computer
